FIRE and Night Out

This week has been an interesting, sad, devastating, week that will make you stop and think! Monday night Tyler's mom called me and said that Ashley's room (tyler's sister) was on fire and the fire department wansn't there yet. We were thinking oh just a little fire. Scary but everything will be ok. I ran to the store came home and Tyler said that his dad called and it was a complete loss :( we were floored his mom was so calm on the phone we didn't think it was that bad. So we jumped in the car and drove to North Ogden. When we got there most of the fire was put out. They had 4 fire trucks trying to keep the fire from getting to the neighbors houses. Fire bursting out of the windows and the roof. Sure glad we didn't see that! Everyone got out ok but it was a complete loss. Everything but the garage and a filing cabinet were demolished. The floors all collapsed celings all collapsed it is basically just a shell. It will take 10 months for repairs, but the sad thing is all their belongings, pictures, and valuables are gone :(. We took a few pics of the fire trucks in the street they had it pretty blocked off so we couldn't get any other good pics. We have yet to go see it but his parents have seen it and say it is devistating! They are so amazing though! They have the best attitudes I could never be as strong as them! They are going thru alot right now! We love you guys!!!!!!

Tyler and I had a night out on Saturday the 22nd :) it was fun! We got a hotel in Salt Lake. We statyed at the Little America Hotel on the 16th floor. Here are some pics off the balcony it was a georgous view!

We also went to dinner at the Melting Pot. We had never been there it was fun and very good! The next morning we went to breakfast at Market Street Grill. It was very nice to have mommy daddy time but we missed our girls very much!

  1. Wow...that is crazy! I hope they are doing okay. That would be the worst.

I'm glad you two got to go on a little date! I love the melting pot, but can only go there so often.

  2. How scary and sad for your in-laws! I can't even imagine...at least everyone was safe and sound at the end of it.

How fun for you and Tyler, I love a good date night like that. You look gorgeous, your hair is so cute!
